Sydney Scherr, has more than 30 years experience in teaching (Parsons School of Design, NYC and Chair of Jewellery Design at Savannah College of Art and Design) and as a practicing designer/goldsmith in the private sector.
Sydney is developing the first Bachelor of Jewellery Design degree in Malaysia for Raffles College of Higher Education.
Sydney is passionate about jewellery and art, as well as the inspired challenge of working with talented young students. She has taught workshops throughout the United States and lectured internationally. Her own jewellery designs have exhibited in prestigious museums all over the world.
